Jim Chastain
Welcome

Greetings!  If you're looking for books, poetry, movie reviews, strange observations, or the Holy Grail, then stay for awhile. Afterwards, I hope we can still be friends.

Please check out my health blog at the Oklahoman
www.newsok.com/jimchastain.

If you want to buy one of my books, you can do that right here. If you buy from me, you'll get a signed 1st edition. I know it's not much, but it's the best I can do. My gift is my crappy penmanship and this one's for you.

Antidotes & Home Remedies, my new poetry book and an Oklahoma Book Award finalist, can be ordered on this site. The book is a collection of health related poems and other "greatest hits" poems from my journal.

I Survived Cancer, but Never Won the Tour de France
is also available at: OKC (Full Circle Bookstore); Edmond (Best of Books); most online sources; and various bookstores throughout the universe.

Like Some First Human Being is also available on this site and in my mom's living room.

The songs you're hearing are by my son Ford from his EP, If I Leave, and my friend Mark Erelli, an excellent singer/songwriter from Boston. Mark took a poem called "Coming Home" from my cancer memoir and turned it into a song. The song will be included on Mark's next CD. Visit
